I have been reading for a while about fruit and vegetable juices and I have purchased a book on the topic called 7lbs in 7 days. It sounds like a diet programme, and in fact it is but that is not the reason I am doing it.
The reason I decide to do it is because I read here that a diet based on fruits and vegetable juices can help clear the skin for patients with psoriasis, so I am giving it a try.
I got through the 7 days very easily, I remember getting a bit hungry on the first day only. And I lost 2.35 kg in one week. My skin seems the same, no improvements after the 7 days.
After I finished the 7 days juicing I started a raw food diet where I am eating just raw food, lots of fruits, green salads and nuts. I must tell I am impressed how well you can feel just by eating raw food.
Today is the end of the third week (1 week just juice, 2 weeks raw food) and I will start tomorrow another week on juices. There are 5 juices a day and with the help of a juice like this I juice pineapples, apples, carrot, beetroot, spinach, ginger and a few more type of greens. All the juices, except one which has no apples and only green leafs, are delicious.
The food diet together with the light therapy that I started a couple of weeks ago is starting cleaning my skin and I am happy with the improvements.
Ah! I almost forgot, we watched the FoodMatters documentary last week and it was really interesting I do recommend everyone that is looking into eating more organic and healthy food to watch this video documentary.
Last month, on 26 of April it was Thomas birthday. Thomas picked his best mates to celebrate his birthday at the park. Tati prepared a very nice birthday with a great selection of food, nice and health fruits for the kids. The kids has lots of balloons to play with and a gift bag to take home together with there favorites wild animal that were decorating the cupcakes.
On 4th of March I have became a Australian citizen. The ceremony was at the Mosman Art Gallery and there were approximately another 50 people there with me to become a citizen. It was a simple but nice and emotional ceremony, we all did our pledge to the Australia’s values.
I also have applied for the passport. I have taken some pictures to share with you.

At home with my new Australian Passport
At the ceremony I had the pleasure of having my wife Gabi and my neighbours and friends Peter and Helen, it was a wonderful evening. After the ceremony we went to the New Orleans Cafe in Crows Nest for dinner.
Last 18th February, Gabi and I went to see the AC/DC show. It was really good. We love it. It is amazing to see the amount of energy that the band still have after all this years on the road. The photo below I still from my friend Ale who was with us just a few meters away.
The first month of the year is about to finish and before it does let me share with you a picture from our New Year’s evening. This NYE we decided to spend on the harbour so we could see the fireworks. We had to wake up very early to get a premium spot. But it was worth it.
We had some of our friends with us: Peter, Helen, Henrique, Isabela, Natalie, Andrea, Michael and Susan. It was Gabi’s first fireworks in Sydney since before we were always travelling during this time of the year. Everyone loved it but it was also very tiring spending the whole day waiting to see the fireworks just in the evening and then go back home. It is the sort of thing that you do once and that’s it.
Unfortunately our camera broke and we had to get our friend’s pictures. Here is the picture:
Last post of the year. This Xmas we decide to go camping, with Tati, Matthias and the kids. We drove to Jervis Bay, 3 hours south of Sydney. All planned and packed just fine what we didn’t count on was the rain. Started raining on Christmas day and after raining for 24 hours straigth, we all had enough, it was time to pack and go back home. It was sad that we couldn’t enjoy the beach, but it was a nice family Christmas. I see you all next year.
One of the things that I most like on having a website is to look at the statistics and find out how people gets to your page. Just recently I was looking the stats for this domain and I found out that there were people getting to my blog by typing on Google Antonio Rodrigues. Drilling down I saw that there were coming from Hungary, so I decide to type my on name on Google Hungary and look at the result:
